Happy new year to our customers old and new! We have spent this Christmas and New Year enjoying some rare and precious time together as a family. This time has enabled us to appreciate each other and to focus on what’s really important in life. As we enter our 62nd year of trading as a family, we have all decided that this is the perfect time to retire. This decision has surprised us probably as much as it has surprised you! So our doors will not be reopening. It has been a pleasure to serve generations of customers over these decades, and soon it will be our family’s turn to be on the other side of a counter! Wishing you all the very best, the Jones family.

England in the World Cup Final!

Something fantastic to see in our lifetimes!

So, on Sunday 20th August our counter and restaurant will be opening an hour later than normal (at 13.00) so our family and staff can watch and enjoy history being made 🤞

Today (Saturday 3rd June) we will be closing earlier than usual at 18:00 as we have a family celebration! We will be open Sunday, normal hours from midday. Kind regards.

It’s time for us to recharge our batteries ready for a busy 2023, so we will be closed for the next 3 weeks, reopening on Tuesday 31st January.

Update: panic averted, stand down everyone. She looks to be safe and sound and moved her car this morning.

We are incredibly worried and please share this wide and far.
This person parked on our property nearly 24 hours ago and hasn’t returned to her vehicle or her property within it.
While it’s put our business out, we’re more worried that she is ok as she has no coat and her bag is in her car.
We just want to know she’s ok.

Someone found this ring on the beach and bought it into the shop so we could post it out on social media.

It has an interesting inscription, we’ll show the start of it. If it’s yours it’s safe and sound on our take away counter.
