Gilberts Open for breakfast, brunch & lunch. Our deli offers cooking ingredients from Great Britiain, Spain, Italy & Malaysia. Cold drinks & ice cream also available.

Alongside produce from Miss T of Whitstable, local cheese & unusual British charcuterie. After inviting good friends over for dinner on a whim one balmy Sunday evening, we prepared, cooked and bought to the table in 30 minutes an array of dishes from ingredients we had in the fridge at the time. They were overwhelmed with what we produced at such short notice. They then went on to tell us that the

y ordered a takeaway meal every Friday and that they would love to order our dishes as an alternative to the usual takeaway choices. That was our lightbulb moment and the concept of our business was born.

I am back folks & running Gilberts solo with my amazing staff 🥰 Introducing new specials. The frittata choices this week are Bacon, Cheese & Cabbage or Gorgonzola, Brazil Nut & Mostarda Mantovana di Pere. Served with salad & my hashas coleslaw. Eat in or takeaway.
