If there’s one ingredient that really belongs on a Whitstable menu, it’s this one.

Our oysters come from the , grown in the oyster beds off the coast here and delivered to us from just down the road.

It doesn’t get much more local than that.

Fresh, plump and tasting very much of the sea - they’re a permanent fixture on Samphire's menu, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Our gnocchi dish is a true celebration of ingredients and not one to be missed.

Pillowy gnocchi served with a hero cavolo nero sauce, topped with toasted hazelnuts and a little salty parmesan. The perfect amount of comfort, but equally not heavy...a current Samphire favourite!

What a glorious summer we’re having and we’re open every day! So whether you’re a local and you know our menu like the back of your hand or you’re visiting and spending a day in our charming seaside town, you can enjoy a little taste of Samphire where big flavours meet seasonal ingredients, all washed down with a good glass of wine.

Bookings are advised, but walk-ins are always welcome. We hope to see you soon.
