Thirty nine is a family run restaurant and exhibition space located off the high street at 39 Oxford Street, Whitstable. After recently undergoing a complete renovation, the building "thirty nine" will function as a restaurant/exhibition space for local and emerging artists to showcase their work. We will be serving Brunch, Lunch and Dinner Service in a sit down setting where customers are also fr

ee to leave their table and enjoy the gallery space. Our menu has a variety of Vegan and Vegetarian options, GF and DF made to order fresh! Community has always been at the heart of what we were hoping to achieve by creating thirty nine; with this in mind we are looking forward to a future with a full events calendar with evenings dedicated to pop up restaurants, film screenings, live music events, an indoor market, gallery opening evenings and much more. If you live in the community and have an idea of how we can use our space please get in touch with us! We are always open to new ideas and would like thirty nine to be a space for everyone!

Hi Everyone

Just an update. As we refurb the new ROOM 808 this building is like father xmas the gift that just keeps giving. We have invested way tooooooo much time effort and money to make this a half hearted job so we have had to close again to fix the newest gift from this great building. But dont worry we will be back very very soon ######x

🎉 We're almost ready, Whitstable! 🎉

We'll be opening our doors this Friday 24th July for our first SEKODN night, from 6pm until midnight. 🎧🍻

While we've encountered one or two unforeseen delays with the full refurbishment, there was no way we were going to miss Friday's opening. So if you're out and about, pop in, have a drink, check out the changes so far and get a feel for what's to come.

Then, on Wednesday 29th July, we'll officially open our doors with our full offering.

What we really can't wait to show you is our brand-new menu. Expect fantastic food, great drinks and an amazing atmosphere in a cool, modern venue right in the heart of Whitstable.
