Almost time for the first game of round 2 of the Guinness six nations. We kick off the weekend with Ireland v France. Should be a good game.

The Six Nations kicks off tomorrow with the first game at 14:15. Why not come down to the pub to watch the games live whilst having a beer or 2!! We have Guinness stocked and ready to go

⚽️ Preston North End Vs. Spurs ⚽️

For those that don’t know, landlord Chris is a big PNE fan (you may have noticed the PNE logo on our mural)
So we couldn’t not show the biggest game of PNEs season.
We think he might be a tad outnumbered so calling all PNE fans 🗣️ why not come down, watch the game and enjoy a great beer or two.

❓ QUIZ NIGHT TONIGHT❓ we have a couple of spare tables for tonight’s quiz if anyone fancies an evening of trivia. Quiz starts at 7:45pm. Tables of max 4. £2 per person. All money goes to charity. Please call into the pub or message us on instagram if you’d like a table!!

🎡 CARNIVAL 🎡 today is the Whitstable carnival!!

It will be finishing on Saddleton Road, close to The Handsome Sam 🍺 why not come down and watch the carnival go past. We have seats outside for the perfect viewing spot.

Lots of great beers, wines, ciders and soft drinks available. Everyone welcome 🤗

🎉 WE ARE OPEN 🎉 the chiller has been replaced in the stillage and we are back open!!

Serving up some great pints at the perfect temperature 🤩

We currently have on Kohatu from four candles, incubus by hopdaemon and prohibition from Kent brewery.

Come down and check them out for yourself 🍺

🆘 PUB CLOSURE 🆘 the pub will be closed all day on Thursday (21st July) and Friday daytime. We are hoping to reopen on Friday around 7pm.

Apologies for any inconvenience this will cause. We know how much you all love a pint in the best of condition so we are having our chiller replaced to ensure the beer is always tip top.
We don’t want any beer to go to waste so all opened barrels will be £3.50 a pint!!. This will be today and ALL day tomorrow. Takeaways also available.

We still have our great selection of cold ciders, wines, bottled beers and soft drinks 🍺
