We are holding recruitment speed interviews on Sunday 12th July from 10am til 12pm for seasonal staff to cover the summer period until the end of August/ mid September.
Please dm if you wish to attand and a time will be sent to you.
Previous experience is an advantage but not training can be given.
No under 16 please.
Applicants need to be hard working, reliable, flexible with shifts, available over the summer, can work as part of a team and use own initative.
Interviews will be a maximum of 10 minutes

As we are approaching our busiest time of year and the temperatures also increase, we have taken the decision to keep with a reduced Menu for the summer.
After trailling this during the heatwave, we were able to keep the kitchen at a bearable temperature for the staff, but we were also able to get most orders sent out with very little waiting time.
Whilst we know that the menu may not suit everyone, although there is still plenty of choice, our aim is for our kitchen staff not to get overwhelmed and over heated, and to ensure that you, our customers, are waiting minimal time for your breakfast or lunch order to arrive to your table.
This will assist us in delivering a much quicker service during summer and hopefully keep your visits enjoyable.

Gluten free diet but love a good sausage??
We have now sourced some very tasty cumberland sausages that are gluten free too. These are now being served on our menu.

******CUSTOMER INFORMATION ON THIS WEEKS HEATWAVE*****
We will be operating a reduced menu Tuesday through to Friday inclusive to assist our kitchen staff to cope with the extreme heat.
We will be serving breakfast as normal until 11.30.
Lunch menu will be reduced to:
Omlettes
Quiche
Sandwiches
Jacket potatos
Paninis
Ploughmans lunch
Salads
Whilst we understand this may cause some disappointment with some customers, the health and well being of our staff must be our priority during this time.
Pizzas will also be available from wednesday onwards.

We have a super cake counter this weekend for fathers day, lots of choice for those of you that are gluten free too.
And our 12" italian style pizzas are making a debut this weekend too.
We have the classic Margarrita, or if you like something a little more spicy we have pepperoni or spicy chicken & hot honey.

Fathers day this Sunday. We are nearly fully booked for indoor tables for breakfast but do have a little availablity for inside seating @ 9am cureently. Lunch tables indoor still available from 12.30 onwards.
We will be running a slightly reduced menu to help our kitchen staff cope but we will also have a few specials on too.
Our Ploughmans lunch is making a come back fof the day, a seafood basket and are new in (and on trial) italian style pizzas.
Margarita, pepperoni and spiced chicken with hot honey drizzle.
If you are planning on coming this weekend we do advise on booking to secure a table.

NEW TAPAS NIGHT DATE NOW AVAILABLE!!
Due to demand and July being fully booked we are adding a new date for our spanish tapas night.
Sooooo Friday 7th August we will be hosting another evening!
Bookings between 6pm and 7.30pm witb closing at 9.30pm
1 booking per table so you can relax and enjoy your evening. £5 deposit per person to secure your booking, which will be taken off your final bill.
Cancellations less than 48hrs before event and no shows will lose the deposit paid.

Summer is on its way again, and our homemade quiche are massively popular during the warmer weather.
This one is mediterranean inspired woth fresh peppers, fresh tomato, rocket, red onion, feta and oregano.
Served with salad, homemade coleslaw and pickled beetroot

With forever rising costs of food, wafes, utilities etc, running a business particularly a small one is becoming harder and harder and VAT is a massive factor in this. We can clajm back very little as most food we buy in dorsnt have VAT charged that we can claim back. But we have to pay the 20% on what is sold on premises to Mr Taxman.
So many smaller businesses, similar to ours are closing because they simply cannot afford to stay open anymore.
A reduction in VAT would help that, and who knows it might even enable businesses to be able to employ that 1 extra person that they might need too.
