After months of planning, tasting and making improvements behind the scenes, we're excited to unveil the next chapter for food at The Milbourne Arms.

You'll still find the classics you'd expect from your local pub, including Battered Cod & Chips, Mince & Dumplings, and our Milbourne Steak & Ale Pie, alongside some new additions such as Miso Caramel Pork Belly, Steak Sandwiches and more!

We've also introduced great value lunch offers and evening specials throughout the week, giving you even more reasons to call in.

Happy Bank Holiday Monday! 🍻

If you're making the most of the long weekend, why not call in and join us for a bite to eat or a drink?

Today we'll be serving a reduced Bank Holiday menu as we put together the finishing touches for our brand new everyday menu, which we can't wait to share with you very soon.

🍺 Bar open 12pm - 10pm.
🍽️ Kitchen open 12pm - 6pm.

What a day at MilliFest!

Thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday and helped make our first MilliFest at the Milbourne Arms such a great community event.

A big thank you to all the brilliant bands who performed: Duo Paul & Steve, Ricky Clark, The Pretty Weeds, and to ''STATION'' Entertainments for keeping the music and sound running smoothly throughout the day.

Thank you to The Friends of Holywell Dene, along with all the local stalls and businesses who joined us: Amysprettybeads, JBN Sparkling Beverage, Dcgiftsbishopauckland, and Charity Crafts.

And of course, a huge thank you to our staff. It was a busy day, and the team worked hard behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly from start to finish.

We should probably thank the weather too. Thunderstorms had been forecast all week, but somehow we even managed to get some sunshine!

It was great to get involved with the local community for the first time. The day also gave us plenty of ideas for future events and social gatherings, so this definitely won’t be the last.

Congratulations to all our raffle and tombola winners. If you haven’t collected your prize yet, please send us a message. 1st place 876-880, 2nd place 146-150, 3rd place 641-645.

The big day is tomorrow!

Millifest 2026 will finally be here and we’re genuinely so excited to welcome you all to The Milbourne Arms. We hope everyone has a smashing day celebrating the brilliant community we have here in Holywell. ❤️

From 12pm, our front garden will be taken over with:

Whether you’re popping down for an hour or planning on spending the whole afternoon with us, come hungry, bring the family and enjoy some good music, good food and a few drinks with your neighbours.

⚽ And the day doesn’t have to end when Millifest does! Newcastle take on Tottenham at 5:30pm, and we’ll be showing the match live across all our screens in the Main Bar and Stables.
