A new week already! ❤️

Pie season is well and truly in full swing here, and we don’t think anyone’s complaining about it 😂

Our homemade Corned Beef Pie and Cheese, Leek & Potato Pie have both been going down a storm.

The sweet stuff isn’t hanging around long either! Our Apple Crumble Cheesecake and Apple Slice with custard seem to disappear almost as quickly as we can make them. 🍎

But probably the most popular thing lately has been our homemade soup. We’re guessing the colder weather creeping in might have something to do with that! 🥣

It definitely feels like everyone is ready for the warming, traditional home comfort food again… and we are too.

Mostly though, we just wanted to say thank you. We love seeing the same faces coming through the door each week, catching up with you, hearing what you’ve been up to and welcoming new faces along the way.

It’s exactly what we always wanted The Avenue to be.

Feels like home. Feels like family. ❤️

Heading into the weekend, why not pop in and treat yourself to something lovely? 💛

Our counters are full of homemade favourites, including our Bueno Cheesecake, which is also gluten free, Caramel Shortbread and Chocolate Brownie, available warm with custard or ice cream. We have our chunky New York Cookies too! 🍰🍪

Our autumn scones are still available:

🍂 Vegan Cheese and Marmite
🍂 Cinnamon Swirl

Along with the regular favourites you know and love:

Our very popular homemade soups have been getting some wonderful reviews from our customers. This weekend we have Tomato and Basil and Smooth Vegetable. Perfect with a lovely fresh scone! 🥣

It is definitely still pie season at The Avenue, so our homemade Corned Beef Pie is still on, alongside all our other traditional specials and comforting home cooked food. 🥧

Our Quiche of the Week is Bacon and Cheese, served with your choice of salad or chips.

And last but certainly not least, our Potato Waffle Breakfast Sarnie is back this Friday and Saturday! 🙌

Choose sausage, egg and cheese, bacon, egg and cheese, or simply have it your way, all sandwiched between two golden potato waffles. ⏰ Available until 11am and while stocks last, so come and get yours!

Whether you fancy a hot coffee, a cold iced coffee or a freshly brewed pot of tea, we have got you covered. We also have ice cream sundaes, milkshakes, fresh juices and fizzy pop. ☕🫖🥤

Our children’s menu is still going strong too. We are proudly family friendly and dog friendly, so everyone is welcome at The Avenue, including your four legged family members! 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦🐾

Our new limited-edition Autumn Scones have also been getting some lovely feedback, thank you so much! ❤️
