As summer approaches its end and all the kiddies have returned to or started their school journey we would just like to say a big heartfelt thank you for all your support and custom over the holidays.
Business can be hard In a seaside town and we really rely on the summer trade and the good weather so we are super appreciative of all your custom and support lately.
It has been so wonderful to share summer with you all, the out of town holiday makers, family gatherings, celebration meals and drinks, theatre goers and of course our regulars from the local community. There has been clinking of glasses, barking Dogs, excitable children with sandy toes and treasures from the beach. Birthdays and coffee mornings, park runners and pre theatre dinners, fun fair thrill seekers and of course a whole load of seagulls coming by to say hello.
The custom has been fantastic, some days it has been absolute mayhem with unexpected and high footfall but we’ve done our best to welcome as many of you through the doors and hopefully provide the majority of you with a welcoming experience and good grub.
A huge thank you to our staff who have worked tirelessly over the summer and are all in need of new shoes from the endless running around the restaurant floor, they have been absolute troopers, always showing up eager for the day ahead and always offering a warm welcome to our customers. We couldn’t do it without you all and we appreciate you very much.
Another massive thank you to everyone who has supported us, from a cup of coffee to a private celebration event we thank every single one of you, every single customer and every single penny spent makes a huge difference to our small business and the staff who work within it.
In the middle of all the summer shenanigans of course we had an unexpected visit from environmental health, right on a chaotic lunch time and we are absolutely over the moon and thrilled to announce we were awarded with 5 stars. We are super proud of this. We as a team work very hard and for this to be noticed is a huge pat on the back for us. Again we can’t thank our team enough for all their hard work, commitment and dedication to make our corner on the coast the best it can be.
It has been yet again an absolute joy not just to welcome custom but to see people, families, friends and holiday makers enjoying our wonderful Whitley Bay coast. Looking out the windows and seeing so many folk heading to the beach, playing games on the links, queuing for ice cream has been so nostalgic and heartwarming to see.
We can only hope our seaside town continues to develop, grow, and be welcoming for many years ahead.
