We’ve had lots of lovely comments and questions about our little herb garden beside the pizza oven 🌿🍕

You may have spotted a few unusual varieties in there, including cola plant, spicy oregano, pineapple sage and strawberry mint. Herbs that aren’t always found in your average garden.

We’ve deliberately left the plant labels in place so visitors can take photos, learn a little more about what’s growing, and maybe even pick up some inspiration for their own gardens.

If you’re having a look, we’d be really grateful if you could leave the labels where they are so everyone can enjoy them.

🏆 A couple of weeks ago we entered a beer garden competition and we only went and bloody won 🏆

We’re absolutely delighted to have been named the winner of the Trust Inns Best Overall Beer Garden category 🍻🌿

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us, enjoyed a drink in the sunshine, shared a pizza on the terrace, or simply spent time with us in the garden. It’s your support that makes it such a special place.

We’ve worked hard over the years to create a space that’s welcoming, comfortable and somewhere people genuinely want to spend their time, so this recognition means a lot to us.

Now all we need is a bit more sunshine… ☀️🍺

What’s going on with the weather? It’s May 😭
