Hi everyone, we hope you are all doing well.

We haven't been on social media for a while but wanted to share some big news with you all.

After many years amazing years serving the good people of Whitley Bay and far and wide, we have decided to sell the cafe. This has been an incredibly hard decision but we felt the time is now right so we can spend more time together as a family.

It has been a privilege to serve the community for over 15 years and we can't thank you all enough for the kindness and support you have given us.

To all our staff that have helped us over the years, your hard work and hospitality have made CK's what it is today and we will be forever grateful for your commitment to the business.

For now, we will be taking it easy and spending time together as a family before we plan our next moves so keep your eyes peeled.

We wish the next owners of the establishment the best of luck and look forward to them bringing something new and exciting to the good people of Whitley Bay.

Hi everyone,
Just wanted to get a quick message out and say thank you to everyone who came down to the cafe yesterday for Father's Day.

It was mega to see so many of you and we really appreciate all the support ❤️

Also, I wanted to apologise for the delay in some orders and bookings. As you can imagine it was one of the busiest days we've had in ages but we hope the slight delay was worth the wait and your food was top notch.

To all the fellow father's, I hope you had a top day and thanks for choosing to spend it with us.

Who knew a game of football could have such a long lasting effect?
14 years ago, this bright young gentleman hit his football off the cafe window, and as the story goes, Micky, instead of giving him a right boll!&*ing, offered him a job.
From washing dishes, to becoming our restaurant manager, David’s worked hard week in week out for 14 years.
This weekend is his last at CK’s as he leaves us to go on to pastures new. We’re all so proud to have had him here and wish him the best on his travels.
It’s been an absolute pleasure son. All the best. Micky.

The long wait is almost over, and we can't wait to have you all back at the cafe! We're still open this weekend for takeaways and outside dining, but as of next week, here are our opening hours.

We're so lucky to be in this position, and it's thanks to all of your support over this incredibly tough year. Thank you all so much, and we can't wait to have you back sitting in and enjoying your Geordie scran!

Hi everyone,

We just wanted to take this time to thank everyone who has come to get takeaway dinners throughout lockdown, and has supported our cafe in Whitley Bay over these last few months. Like many other businesses in the town, we're a local, family run, and depend on the support of our community to get by in trying times like this, and we just have to say you have absolutely blown us away with your support!

We're delighted to say that as of last weekend, we're open for outdoor sit down meals again. We've got the new pagoda that provides some shelter if it drizzles, but as we waltz into summer, we know there's only good times ahead at CK's - and that's all down to our wonderful community.
