The Melton Constable is a traditional roadside Pub, located above the harbour in the centre of the seaside village of Seaton Sluice. With views north to the Cheviot Hills and of Holywell Dene from the Conservatory, the Pub lies just a stone’s throw away from an award winning beach and the stunning Northumberland Coast.

‘The Melton’ is ideally placed to enjoy a relaxing drink or meal, in warm and welcoming surroundings. Our offering is simple Real Ale, Real Food, Real People, Real Pub. We are renowned locally for our range of 5 Real Ales, (as listed in the CAMRA Real Ale Guide) which alongside a broad array of Malt whiskies and a menu packed with everyone’s favourites meals make us the most “traditional” of traditional pubs in the area. Food is served from 12.00pm to 2.45pm and again 5.30pm to 7.45 Monday to Saturday and 12.00pm to 5.45pm Sunday.

We have our new Sunday menu going live this week with the traditional roasts as always but we’ve added a few more things! We have a kids menu available now on a Sunday if you have a fussy eater and we also now offer sandwiches if you’re just after a quick bite whilst having a pint 🍻

Also keep your eyes peeled over the next week as our Christmas menu will be going up also!

As always to avoid any disappointment make sure you give us a call to book your table!

We are starting a darts team on a Wednesday evening and we are looking for any interested players to come along. Currently have a few already so if the interest is high enough we could end up with two teams! First practice is this Wednesday (5th August) meeting at 7pm in the bar. Be Right Back Band are live in the bar at 8 o’clock this weekend (Saturday 6th June) if you managed to see them last year it was a sea of people! So we’d recommend getting in early if you want a seat 💺

We now have a Target Darts board up in the pub linked with DartCounter!

Darts are available from behind the bar or you can bring your own of course, come down and channel your inner Luke Littler 🎯

Hopefully we will have a darts team on the horizon soon also 🤞🏻

All under 18s must be supervised be a responsible adult (down to my discretion for “responsible” 😂)
