It’s Pembrokeshire Show Week 🚜🌾

Which can only mean one thing for us at Roadhouse… busy, busy, BUSY…and we love it!

The show days are Wednesday 19th & Thursday 20th August, but we’re expecting a busy week all round, with plenty of people travelling back and forth to one of the biggest events in the local calendar.

Weeks like this are also a great reminder of just how important it is to support small and local businesses. From restaurants, trades and shops to the farmers and agricultural businesses working tirelessly behind the scenes, they all play their part in keeping our communities, and this country, running.

So whether you’re heading to the show, coming home from it, or simply out and about this week, we’ll be ready to welcome you at Roadhouse.

A big thank you to everyone who chose to spend part of their Sunday with us today. We never take a busy restaurant for granted and we’re genuinely grateful for every single one of you.

And, as always, a huge shoutout to our team…Another full-on Sunday smashed👏

Today is results day for so many young people, including some of our own younger team here at Roadhouse. ❤️

For some, today will bring exactly the results they hoped for. For others, perhaps not. But whichever way those envelopes open, remember this: there is never just one path to a good future.

We have the privilege in hospitality of working with and meeting people from all walks of life, and if there’s one thing experience teaches you, it’s that your worth — and your potential — can’t be measured by exam results alone.

Be determined. Work hard. Be willing to learn new things and give things a go. Those qualities will take you a very long way in life!

And never underestimate the power of good manners and a genuine, warm smile. They’ll open more doors than you might think.

So to everyone collecting results today, especially our own Roadhouse team, whatever that piece of paper says, be proud of how far you’ve come and excited for what’s ahead. There are so many different roads you can take from here 💛

It was so nice to see so many of you sat outside enjoying your dinner while watching the eclipse this evening…Definitely not your average Wednesday night! ✨

The staff might have snuck outside for a little look too… 👀😂

Good food, a lovely atmosphere and an eclipse overhead, not a bad way to spend an evening! 💛
