🍝🍕 Moutrey’s Restaurant is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our team! 🍕🍝

🧑🏼‍🍳This is a part-time position, with a lot of the required shifts taking place at weekends, an ideal role for a student or anyone looking for weekend & summer holiday work.🧑🏼‍🍳

📋 Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in washing and putting away dishes, kitchen equipment and utensils, keeping the kitchen clean and organised during service
- Assist the chefs with basic food prep
- Prepare desserts and salads during service
- Help with stock organisation and general kitchen duties
- Ensure all food hygiene and health & safety procedures are followed
- Work as part of a friendly and hardworking kitchen team

🤌🏼 We’re Looking For Someone Who Is:

- Hardworking, reliable and eager to learn
- 16+
- Able to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment
- A great team player with a positive attitude
- Available to work weekends and during busy periods
- No previous experience is necessary – full training will be provided!

We’d just like to reiterate this please as we’ve had a few bookings turn up with dogs.
We unfortunately cannot take them, it’s just not a safe environment for dogs.
Thank you for your understanding 😊

Polite notice- we only allow service dogs.

There has been some recent confusion on if we allow dogs in the restaurant, thanks to Google’s very helpful (not) Ai response deciding that we do.

Unfortunately we can only allow service dogs, and our resident border collie Stevie (pictured) who has had to come to work with us following an accident, in the restaurant.

Sadly we are too small and busy to offer a safe environment for dogs. We wish we could as we do mostly prefer them to humans. 🙈😉

If you need your Moutrey’s fix but can’t leave your dog, we can offer takeaways for collection (dependant on how busy we are with customers in the restaurant), and are happy for your pooch to come to the door to collect with you.

Thank you for understanding, and please don’t trust Ai as a reputable source of information!
