Due to all the crazy social media comments about locking our toilets to prevent abuse by the general public I feel I need to clarify a few points. We are not restricting genuine customers from accessing the facilities. We never were. We were locking the toilets periodically in peak times ie 6 weeks holidays to prevent non customer use and maintain standards to enable cleaning etc. We are looking at other avenues with controlled access systems that may work for our setting. The post that is circulating has only just been brought to our attention and is inaccurate. Hence this post. We are not avid social media users and are not getting consumed by all the hate on fb so I hope this post clarifies that customers still have facilities.
