Did you catch our head chef Paul Gildroy at Whitby Fish and Ships yesterday?
Don't worry if not as he is cooking in the craft fish marquee again this afternoon.
We also have our Seafood Kitchen stall open serving lots of delicious dishes including freshly made Paella.

Whitby Fish and Ships festival is taking place this weekend.
Don't miss our head chef Paul Gildroy doing live cooking demonstrations in the fish craft marquee.
We also have our Seafood Kitchen stall open selling some amazing freshly cooked seafood and also cook at home sauces.
The Magpie Cafe restaurant and takeaway, The Magpie's Whitby Catch and The Magpies Kitchen Cookshop are all open as normal.
We look forward to seeing you over the weekend.

We have a fantastic line-up of top chefs ready to showcase their culinary talents to you.

Here's the full line-up in our fish craft marquee sponsored by The Magpie Cafe:

Saturday 16 May
- 10am: Fish Display Showcasing and Filleting
- 11am: Cookery Demonstration with Paul Gildroy from The Magpie Café and Andrew Barker a freelance fishmonger and master fish craftsman
- 1pm: Shellfish Preparation with Natasha Roe from Cod Roe Fishmongers
- 2.15pm: Cookery Demonstration with Rob Green a freelance chef consultant and seafood specialist
- 3.15pm: Shellfish Preparation with Stephen Boocock from Sandgate Seafoods and LW Shellfish

Sunday 17 May
- 10.30am: Shellfish Preparation with Stephen Boocock from Sandgate Seafoods and LW Shellfish
- 11.45am: Shellfish Preparation with Natasha Roe from Cod Roe Fishmongers
- 1pm: Cookery Demonstration with Paul Gildroy from The Magpie Café and Andrew Barker a freelance fishmonger and master fish craftsman
- 2.15pm: Cookery Demonstration with Maggie Lubaszewska from Tide By Trenchers

Whitby Fish and Ships takes place at Whitby Marina Front Car Park on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 May, between 10am and 5pm Sat and 4pm Sunday, with the music marquee open until 11pm on Saturday.
