As a family, we would like to say a heartfelt thank you for all your lovely words, kindness and support during this difficult time.It really has meant alot to us all ❤️

Just a kind reminder that we will be closed on Tuesday 25th and Wednesday 26th August this week.

It is with great sadness that the family at Fortune’s Kippers inform our past and present customers of the passing of Derek .

Derek began his work here as a full-time partner alongside his uncle, Bill Fortune, and was later joined by his brother, Barry. He was a much-loved and valued part of the Fortune’s Kippers family and will be deeply missed.

As a family, we will continue to produce and remain open as usual, with the help and support of Derek’s eldest son, Daniel, and Barry’s youngest daughter, Beth.

We are open as normal, but we kindly ask that you bear with us during this very difficult time.

Please note that the shop will be closed on Tuesday 25th and Wednesday 26th August.

Thank you to all our customers for your continued support, understanding and kindness. It means a great deal to our family at this difficult time.

We will be up at Whitby Brewery this Thursday and Friday for Made in Whitby summer festival serving our kipper fillet buns and smoked bacon buns!
The event will run from 11am both days and we will be open until we run out 😁

Please note we won't have any stock from the shop to sell, the shop will be open as normal from 9am all week !

✉️ We seem to have had a re run appearance on the TV today with the wonderful Mary Berry 🍓
