A huge congratulations to Dan & Fiona, who tied the knot with us this week at Hotel Victoria! 🥂

With our beautiful sea-view garden as the setting for their ceremony, they then celebrated with a small but perfectly formed wedding reception in our cosy Loxley room, surrounded by their nearest and dearest. ❤️

MEET CAROLINE – OUR NEW FOOD & BEVERAGE MANAGER! 🌟
We’re delighted to welcome Caroline to the Victoria family!

Scarborough born and bred, Caroline brings a wealth of hospitality knowledge and over 10 years of management experience to her new role.

Hospitality is certainly in her blood! Having grown up with grandparents who owned and ran pubs, Caroline was introduced to the industry from a very young age and has never looked back.

So, what does she love most about hospitality? Meeting new people, having a good chat, working alongside a great team and, most importantly, seeing happy customers! And, of course, the fact that no two days are ever the same.

Caroline is looking forward to getting her teeth into her new role, and we’re thrilled to have her on board.

Next up in our celebration of our wonderful housekeeping team is the lovely Leyla, who has been part of the Victoria family for two and a half years.
We asked Leyla what she loves most about working at Hotel Victoria, and for her it’s all about the people. ❤️

She loves being part of such a great team and particularly enjoys meeting the many different guests who come through our doors from all over the world. 🌍

It’s people like Leyla, working hard behind the scenes with a smile, who help make Hotel Victoria the warm and welcoming place we’re so proud of.

A very special presentation at Hotel Victoria today 💙⚓️

We were thrilled to welcome members of the Robin Hood’s Bay and Whitby RNLI to Hotel Victoria today for a very special occasion.

Neil Williamson, Whitby RNLI Museum Curator & Launch Authority, presented James Hutton with a Certificate of Thanks from the RNLI, recognising his dedicated and longstanding support.

Over the past five years, James has single-handedly raised more than £10,000 for the RNLI in Staithes and Robin Hood’s Bay — an absolutely fantastic achievement supporting the lifesaving work of this incredible charity. 👏

It was a real pleasure to host the presentation and celebrate James alongside members of our local RNLI community.

Huge congratulations, James — very well deserved! 💙
