As of tomorrow (28th March, 2026), we will be serving food until 3:30pm and serving coffee and cakes until 4pm, when the cafe closes.

Our lovely manager Alison Digby managed to complete the Macmillan Mighty Hike (Northumberland Coast) this weekend - walking 26.5 miles, in under 8 hours.

We are incredibly proud of her and her friend, Cara for completing such a challenge. Alison has managed to raise £565 for Macmillan Cancer Support so far but her donation link is still open if you would like to make any last minute donations!

The final will take place from 4pm on Friday 1 August and the public can vote all the way through to 23.59pm on Sunday 3 August.

How to vote:

Facebook - On Friday at 4pm there will be the official Facebook post set live which we’ll also set as our Featured Post at the top of the page.

Each team will be given a ‘reaction’ symbol (the one found by the ‘like/thumbs up’ option). These are what count of votes.

Comments on Facebook do not count as votes, but we’d love to see you supporting your favourites in the comments section and why you think they should win.

Instagram -

For the final things are slightly different to previous rounds. We will post on our feed a similar photo to the one seen on Facebook.
