Hello, once again!

The Coffee Shop Team are delighted to announce that we will be back on the 17th May 2021, following government guidelines.

We are working on our lovely shop at the moment to get everything ready, and we can't wait to see you all at 1030am on Monday. We'll be waiting to serve you with seated and take-away scones, cakes, coffee, and more.

Hello again! Even though we’re still in lockdown, we’re always practising our baking skills!

Hopefully once we reach May, we’ll be back in our little shop with our door wide open, but for now, all at The Coffee Shop would like to thank our lovely customers for their support.

Feel free to let us know in the comments what you’d like to see on the counter when we reopen!

Due to the recent change from Tier 2 to Tier 3 across North Yorkshire, The Coffee Shop will now be operating as a takeaway service only for the foreseeable future.

We’ll keep you updated with any delevelopments and hope to see you all for coffee and a scone soon.

Our drinks and food are served in eco-friendly takeaway containers, and perfect for a wintery walk on the beach.

Hello!

Yet another quick update - we seem to be writing more of these than we ever have at the moment but we're pleased to say we'll be back Thursday 3rd December!

We can't wait to see all of our lovely locals, and anyone else around Grape Lane, very soon.

Hello!

We know it's been a long time since you've seen us but we are still working hard to get everything ready to open.

Our team have been preparing themselves so that we are safe, and you are safe.

Hopefully we will be opening early next week after our perspex screens have been installed. We'll also have hand sanitiser points in place, and hope to welcome all of our lovely friends back in comfort and safety.

We can hardly wait to see you all very soon!☕️🍰

Firstly, Hello!

The Coffee Shop Team are missing serving all of our lovely locals and regular tourists, and can't wait to be back in our shop. During this time, where many shops are starting to get the wheels in motion on reopening, we thought we'd give you a little update.

We want to thank all of our loyal customers for your patience during these times and are missing everyone so much. That being said, you all know what a small business we are, both in the size of our facility and our close-knit team. It would not be possible at this time to facilitate a 'dine-in' experience in our shop, no matter how much with miss the lovely conversations between everyone whilst you enjoy your coffee and cake. We are not yet returning and are instead adhering strictly to the guidelines.

Claire is working 'behind the scenes' to bring some treats to you in a way as safe as they would be tasty.

If anyone would be interested in either commissioning some treats, a specific dish, or ordering from a set menu, please let us know in the comments below so we can gauge what the support for this might be.

We hope to see you soon but in the meantime, stay safe and sane.

Given the news we’ve just received, it is with a heavy heart that we must take action to help prevent the spread of Coronavirus.

From tonight, all restaurants and cafes must close. We have a kitchen full of food that we do not want to waste. The Coffee Shop will be serving takeaways only this weekend, observing social distancing rules, until we close on Sunday afternoon.

Can we please ask that when queuing to order food and drinks, you maintain ample distance between you and other customers, and also please do not bring your own cups and containers, we have plenty of eco-friendly packaging for you to use. We have hand-washing facilities within also.

Please feel free to come in and stock up on cake, soup and sandwiches to keep you going for a little while.

We will be open from 11am and ready to serve you until we run out of stock.
