West End Barns will be OPEN as usual this weekend - 9.30-4.30 but CLOSED bank holiday Monday.

The Cake Shed at West End Barns will be OPEN as usual Monday - Friday (including bank holiday Monday!) 8am-late offering cold drinks, ice creams and the best cakes baked by This Blondie Bakes 🧁

As the weather this weekend is looking amaaazing, The Cake Shed will also be open after West End Barns closes from 4.30pm until late on Saturday & Sunday 🥳

After a short break last weekend, West End Barns is back open this Saturday & Sunday ☀️

The weather may be looking a little changeable, but we’ve been busy baking plenty of goodies for the weekend which include:

Raspberry brownies 🍫
Millionaire shortbread 😋
Vegan school cake 🌱
Biscoff cake 🍰
Gingerbread tractors 🚜
Flapjacks 💛

Plus fresh scones, sausage rolls & ice cream 🍦

We have both undercover and outdoor seating, as well as bike racks, doggy water bowls and colouring for little ones.

📣 Weekend Update from West End Barns 📣

Please note that West End Barns will be CLOSED this weekend — Saturday 9th & Sunday 10th May.

Our sister Lauren is running the Copenhagen Marathon 🇩🇰 in aid of Heart Research UK — we’re incredibly proud of her and wish her the very best of luck!

🍰 The Cake Shed will be OPEN on both Saturday 9th & Sunday 10th May, offering:

✨ A wide range of cakes & traybakes
✨ Fresh scones & snacks
✨ Cold drinks & ice cream

Please note - there are NO HOT DRINKS available in The Cake Shed.

West End Barns will be back up and running as normal the following weekend. In the meantime, we hope you enjoy a visit to The Cake Shed and thank you for your understanding.

We’re looking forward to seeing you at West End Barns this weekend. Saturday is looking sunny and dry (rain not forecast until the evening!) and we’ll have lots of goodies waiting for you both days 😋

This gorgeous weather is set to continue into the weekend ☀️🍦

Ice creams all round! We’ve got plenty of yummy flavours waiting for you, including everyone’s favourite chunky chocolate and raspberry ripple. You can enjoy them in a cone or a tub and either as a single or double scoop.

We also have kid’s minis which is a smaller scoop with a cone on top (perfect for little tummies!), as well as vegan chocolate and Lickalix lollies. And this week, we’ve got gluten-free cones available too.

As this weekend is looking so sunny, we’ll also be opening The Cake Shed from 4:30pm after West End Barns closes — it will be stocked full of cold drinks and tubs of ice cream.

Make the most of the good weather with a visit to West End Barns – we’re open Saturday & Sunday, 9:30–4:30.

Round off the end of the Easter holidays with a trip to see the beautiful bluebells and a visit to West End Barns! 💙

West End Barns is only a short walk from the nearest bluebell wood and they really are stunning at the moment! Why not pick up one of our walking maps on your next visit - just ask us at the till for more details.

If you do visit the bluebells, remember to stick to the paths and keep dogs on leads/ under control 🐶
