Woohoo!! 🎈Delicio turns 1 year old this weekend, and we could not be prouder!!
Thank you so much to everyone for making this little venture possible AND for keeping us open and busy for - what all small businesses will know is - the scariest 12 months of our lives 🥰🙈
It has been a real rollercoaster, and we are still adapting and changing as we go, but we feel like we are slowly coming into our own and we look forward to seeing where it takes us next.
Happy Birthday Delicio, and cheers to hopefully many more years to come 🥂🧀

*PLEASE SHARE, THANKS!*

Hi everyone!

As we approach our 1 year anniversary (how has that happened so fast!?), we have already morphed into so much more than we planned - and that's thanks to all of you for supporting small businesses and shopping local!
Starting out as being a local cheese & wine shop, we are also now a full blown speciality cookshop, and at the same time a bustling community hub where we have loads of regular faces meeting for coffee or a few wines/beers - it's really humbling to know that people have made close friends here in the village because of a shop we started up 🥹

Since opening, we've already added SO many extras, such as;
- Herbs & Spices By-The-Gram (yes you can top up your own jars!)
- Riverside Sourdough & Focaccia weekends
- Stables local Pies
- Pasta & Italian food range
- Growing Spanish food range (think Paella kits & more)
- Mexican food range (yes, even JARRITOS!)
- Oriental cooking sauces & food range
- Frozen sourdough pizza pucks to make your own pizzas at home
- Window seating to watch the world go by over a drink
- A compact but perfectly matched selection of nibbles to eat in
- HUGE range of Mrs. Darlington's chutneys/jams/condiments
- Amazing murals throughout the courtyard area
- & so much more we can't even think of (and yes, there's still more new stock and features on the way!)

Whilst we are so excited with the growth of the shop, there are now so many moving parts that (for the time being) we need to put aside another day per week for maintenance - This will allow us to give you the absolute best version of Delicio we can, and one that we can be even more proud of as we continue to march on forward. Who knows... We might actually be able to start planning some tasting events soon! 😉😉😉
