There’s something a little bit magical about High Tea at The Wishing Well✨

On a beautiful day, find a table amongst our water gardens and enjoy your afternoon surrounded by greenery, flowing water and the sounds of nature. Or, when it’s feeling a little more autumnal outside, settle into our cosy tearoom and watch the gardens from inside.

Everything on our High Tea is made in-house from scratch, with our sweet treats freshly baked with lots of love by our kitchen team. We also offer vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free High Tea options, so nobody has to miss out.

Perfect for a catch-up, birthday, celebration or maybe because an afternoon of sweet and savoury treats sounds like a very good idea!

High Tea is £26.95 per person and served daily from 3pm. We require at least 24 hours’ notice and a £10 deposit per person when booking.

We’re still being treated to some lovely warm weather, and we can’t think of a better way to enjoy it than brunch by the river ☀️🌿

Find a spot in our water gardens and take your pick from plenty of brunch favourites. Go all out with our Big Wisher, our take on a Full English, tuck into Eggs Benny or creamy shrooms on toast, keep it light with smoked salmon and poached eggs, or stick with a classic bacon brioche roll.

Brunch is served daily 10am to 12pm (11:45am on weekends), so make the most of these warmer days while they’re still here💚

Join us on 31st October for a brilliant night of toe-tapping hits, country glamour and some seriously good Southern-inspired food, with a live Dolly Parton Tribute Act and our special low-and-slow Tennessee Tasting Table.

And don’t forget the dress code! We want to see your best country fancy dress, so dig out the cowboy hats, denim, tassels and boots and come ready for a proper night out🎶

🚧 TEMPORARY PARTIAL ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE - YOU CAN STILL REACH US THOUGH! 🙌

Part of Church Street (number 40 up to Westbrook Farm access road) will be temporarily closed from MONDAY 21st to SATURDAY 26th September, but don’t worry, you can still access The Wishing Well as normal. Simply reach us VIA GOULDS HILL or ELWELL STREET (entrance just passed the old ship inn pub) instead during the closure.

We’ll be open as normal, with all of our usual parking options still available, so please don’t let the road closure put you off visiting us!☕

We have SO much coming up for our younger visitors between now and Christmas, and we have a feeling there are going to be some very excited little faces at The Wishing Well! 🎃🎄✨

It all starts with our Haunted Trail in the garden, which runs from the 24th October to 1st November. Mickey and Minnie join us for a Halloween Party on 26th October. Then on 28th October, we’ll be welcoming the Fairy Godmother and Glass Slipper Princess, before finishing the Halloween fun with our Halloween Breakfast Party on the 31st Oct, packed with surprise characters, singing, dancing and plenty of fancy dress! 👻

And then... our Christmas programme starts! ❄️ Little ones can join Elsa and the gang for a magical Frozen Brunch, while The Grinch will be causing mischief on several visits to The Wishing Well, alongside Elf on the Shelf.

There really is so much for families to look forward to over the next few months. 💚

Please book early if there’s an event your little ones would love. We always receive lots of messages asking for spaces once events have sold out, and we hate having to disappoint you 🫶

Join us on Saturday 19th September for a spectacular celebration of musical theatre! Wessex Musical Theatre is taking the stage to perform "A Night at the Musicals" a show-stopping journey through 100 years of iconic music.

Set against the picturesque backdrop of our Sub-Tropical Water Gardens, you'll enjoy a stunning live performance featuring hit songs from beloved West End and Broadway shows, including Les Misérables, The Greatest Showman, Mamma Mia! Guys & Dolls, Oliver! Rent, and Oklahoma!
