When a major piece of kitchen equipment breaks mid-service at the beginning of a bank holiday weekend… you know you’re in for an interesting few days! 😅
It’s been a challenging weekend at Oliveto, but also one with plenty to be grateful for.
Firstly, thank you to our customers. We had to run a reduced menu, and your patience, understanding and kindness made a stressful situation much easier. ❤️
To our front-of-house team: thank you for handling the changes so smoothly and looking after our guests.
To our kitchen team: thank you for adapting the menu and keeping the food coming, despite the extra challenge.
A huge shout-out to local engineer Aaron for helping us get everything fixed and back up and running. 🔧👏
And a special thank-you to Kiera for being a travel / keep us awake buddy on the drive to North London for replacement parts. 🚗💛
It’s now Sunday, and we’re very happy to say everything is fixed, working and ready for this evening’s service — with our full menu back on! 🙌
Thank you to everyone who helped us through it. We’re looking forward to a less eventful evening and doing what we love: feeding you!
