Hello everyone.

We hope you're well.

We're writing to let you know that sadly, due to increasing work commitments, we’re having to close the café in its current guise for the time being.

Although the café won’t be open in the traditional sense, our original vision of maximising the HiVe’s potential as a community and creative asset hasn’t changed. Ideas for using the space in the future include monthly lunch dates, secret supper clubs, private parties and celebrations, charity events, workshops, classes, clubs and group meetings.

If you would like to use the HiVe for an event you’re planning, we’d be happy to hear from you. Cherril has many years of teaching and workshop experience and would be more than happy to help, with advice, practical help with running your event, or vegetarian/vegan catering (or any combination) to suit your needs.

As our plans for the HiVe's next chapter develop, we’ll keep everyone posted here. We’re also looking to open the café in the summer on a few specific dates to support some charitable causes. We’ll share details here as soon as they're confirmed.

The Beekeeper’s Loft holiday apartment above the café is still very much up and running and available to book – please find us on Airbnb.

Morning all, here are today’s specials and cakes. We’re open from 11.30 - 2.30 this Thursday and Friday, and from 11.00 - 4.00 on Saturday. Hope you have a lovely day!

Morning everyone, thank you so much to everyone who came in for our first few days of opening last week. We really appreciate your support and kind feedback ☺️

We’ve made a few small tweaks to the menu for this week. As a reminder, we’re open 10-4 Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
