lect this diversity across the seasons, the weather and the tides. Not only will we tell you where and when your fish was caught, but on which boat and by whom, using which sustainable method. Our commitment to the local community is at the heart of the restaurant’s culture. Catch at The Old Fish Market is part of a far greater endeavour to bring the quality of Dorset produce to popular attention, while sustaining the Weymouth inshore fishing fleet.

We’ve introduced a handful of heritage breed chickens and Oxford Sandy Black pigs, all raised slowly, responsibly and with care.

The chickens provide fresh eggs, while the pigs contribute to the wider sustainability of the kitchen. Their diets are supplemented with garden waste and fallen fruit, closing the loop in a simple, natural way.
