We're Hiring – Part-Time Bar & Front of House Team Member

The Fox at Walton is looking for a friendly, professional, and enthusiastic Part-Time Bar & Front of House Team Member to join our team.

We are looking for candidates who are 18 years of age or over, as this role involves serving alcohol behind the bar. Applicants must also be available to work throughout the year, including both term time and school holiday periods.

At The Fox at Walton, we are proud of our warm Yorkshire hospitality and our dishes, which are made from locally sourced ingredients and cooked from scratch with care, passion, and attention to detail. We're looking for someone who shares our passion for great food, exceptional service, and creating memorable experiences for every guest.

The successful candidate will:
• Be aged 18 or over.
• Have a positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Be passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
• Be reliable, hardworking, and a supportive team player.
• Be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
• Be available to work throughout the year, including term time and school holidays.

While you've been making the most of Costa del Walton, we've been tucked away planning Christmas — and the menus are nearly here. Festive parties, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve... all of it, done the way we do things. Proper food, no shortcuts.
Whether it's the works do, the annual friends' get-together, or a quieter midweek meal with all the festive trimmings, there'll be a menu to suit.
We'll be sharing them here and on the website over the coming weeks — but as ever, the popular dates fill up fast. Never too early to start planning (that's our excuse, anyway).

Turns out it's National Fish and Chip Day — and who are we to argue with a day like that?
There's something just right about proper fish and chips done well. Crisp, golden batter, flaky fish underneath, a good heap of chips and mushy peas, and a wedge of lemon to finish. Nothing fussy. Just one of those plates that makes everyone go quiet for a minute.
