Thinking of paying us a visit by bus?

The Old Town Quarry is conveniently situated on the no. 9 bus route.

The route starts from the Interchange in the town centre, travelling along the front via Knightstone and Birnbeck Road before coming to the Quarry directly via South Road and Queens Road.

This route runs approx. every 2 hours.

You’ll find the bus stop for the Quarry located right next to the entrance gate.

Always wondered where this ‘gem’ of a venue is hidden?

You’ll find us within the Old Town Quarry on South Road, which was historically referred to as the ‘Mother of the Town’ (having provided the limestone to build most of the grand Victorian houses of Weston-super-Mare!)

Thanks to the dedication of a passionate community this venue is now the home to a vibrant creative hub, artist studios, exhibition spaces and a cafe (Yours truly!)

It’s a pretty perfect place to showcase how nature, heritage and creativity can come together in the most scenic setting at the edge of Weston Woods

and we’re very proud of it…
