A fond farewell to The Bay Café 👋
In early 2022, The Food Hub (Passion and Soul Food) was selected by North Somerset Council to operate The Bay Café as a concession, in preparation for the exciting SEEMonster installation at the Tropicana.
Originally planned as a six-month venture, our time here has been extended to an unforgettable three years. We've truly made The Bay Café our home, becoming a cherished part of this vibrant community. It’s been a welcoming place for so many, and we’re proud to have played a role in its success.
As the Tropicana building undergoes renovation, we will be stepping down to make way for a new operator. We can’t wait to see the transformation of this iconic and beloved landmark into a hub for arts, culture, and entertainment!
We’d like to take this moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to a few key people and teams who made all of this possible:
✨ First, to North Somerset Council, and especially the seafront team, for their invaluable guidance and unwavering support.
✨ To our incredible staff. Your dedication and initiative have made The Bay the welcoming and successful cafe it is today. We couldn’t have done it without you!
✨ Lastly, to YOU – our amazing customers. Your loyalty and support, especially in these challenging times, have meant the world to us. We will genuinely miss seeing you all.
Our final day of trading will be Easter Bank Holiday Monday, 21 April 2025.
A hand on heart thanks to you all, we leave with so many wonderful memories and moments to cherish.
We hope to see you before we close, but don’t worry! Our sister sites are still here for you:
• The Clarence: open 7 days a week
• The Victorian: open Wednesday to Sunday, and will be open 7 days a week from Easter!
