It's been a week since we closed The Snugs door and we would just like to thank everyone for all there flowers cards and good wishes. We have been incredibly lucky, I will miss everyone but not the early starts, late finishes and all the washing up šŸ„“ if ya passing by please pop in shop and say hello. Much love as always xx

So with 3 days left until we close The snug on Saturday, I reflect on what a crazy 8 years we have had. We wouldn't have been able to do it without the hard work of so many. Our bakers Karen Alexander my sis in law, who has been with us since the start and whose carrot cake has been one of the most popular cakes. Larraine Vickery and my bestie Julie Holmes who also baked for us. In the last few years Ian in addition to all the soup, sausage rolls, Lasagne, curry etc has been baking cakes with me on decorating duties.
Thanks to all those who have worked in The Snug and become part of our work family, you know who you are. Our love and thanks to our own families who have helped us along the way.
But thanks more than anything to all our lovely customers/friends for all your support over the years, without you we wouldn't have been so successful. For that we are truly grateful.
We only ever wanted people to visit The snug and feel at home...hopefully mission complete.
As we continue to run the shop if you're ever passing pop in to say Hi

BE AWARE. A website called Auto Reserve is attempting to make online bookings on behalf of customers for The Snug Tearoom. We DO NOT have any agreement with this website and they have taken card details from a customer. The website gives the appearance of being ok but is nothing to do with us so could be a scam.

So, yesterday was 8 years since we opened The Snug. I had spent several years previously saying "If I had a tea room, it would be like this...."
Westleton was the perfect place to open our small but very "snug" tea room. The idea being people would feel at home and hopefully return. We have been blessed with meeting so many lovely people and have so many regular customers. We couldn't have created this without "our girls" working alongside us, who have all been wonderful and apart of our family. We have decided though that the time has come to try and slow our lives down a little and create more time for ourselves. The Snug will therefore be closing on Saturday 16th May. Any vouchers will need to be redeemed by this date. Thank you to our guests/friends over the past 8 years. We couldn't have done it without you. Much love as always, Jane and The Snug xx
