It's that time of year again. Yesterday we had lots and lots of Volunteers out counting the Bitterns on the reserves. An early start for me and Bridget 4.30am alarm clock to be able to start serving breakfast Baps on their arrival back at 6.15am. Love this time of the morning 🙂

Nothing beats the smell of freshly cooked cheese scones coming out of our oven. Served on their own with butter or as a special served with cream cheese, caramelised onion and side salad. Just delicious 🙂

What a difference the weather makes. Felt like proper Spring this week with lots of people around the Centre. Busy baking a batch of croissants waiting to be served with Jam or filled with cheese and ham as a delicious snack.

It actually feels like Spring is finally here. The sun has been peaking out behind those clouds and the flowers are beginning to bloom. Happy Weekend everyone. Today's meal of the day was a giant homemade Yorkshire pud filled with sausages, vegetables and gravy.

As we close our doors for one day tomorrow to allow all our lovely staff to enjoy precious time with their family we would like to thank and wish all our amazing customers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Without you all we wouldn't be able to survive these trying times for all small businesses, so thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
