We understand that the parking sign outside our restaurant, Shampan at the Spinning Wheel in Westerham, can cause some concern. We would like to clarify our parking policy to ensure a smooth experience for all our visitors.

Parking Information:

If you are dining with us, collecting a takeaway or visiting us, parking is complimentary. Simply register your vehicle’s registration number upon arrival at reception with a member of our staff.

The £100 fine indicated on the sign is a standard term enforced by Civil Enforcement, the external parking management company. This measure is in place to prevent non-guests from utilizing the car park for all-day parking. As long as you register your vehicle, you will not be subject to this fine.

If you forget to register and receive a penalty notice, please contact us with your reservation details, and we will assist in forwarding a copy of your bill to help resolve the issue.

At Shampan, we are committed to providing an exceptional hospitality experience. While parking charges are managed by an external company, we encourage our guests to inquire about registering your vehicle to avoid unexpected fines. Should you have any questions upon your arrival, our staff will be more than happy to assist you.
