Our next joint residents and relatives meeting will be Wednesday 30th September at 3pm.
This will be held in the tv lounge.

We hope that our small gestures throughout the week have showed how greatful we all are for the fabulous and hard work that each and everyone puts in to make watersmead the home that it is.

Carers appreciation week 💓

Yesterday and today we have continued celebrating 🍾 our amazing staff here at watersmead.
Yesterday the staff enjoyed a selection of chocolates, crisps and dips. Today our staff, residents and some family members enjoyed a delicious chocolate cake. We again want to thank all of our amazing staff here at watersmead that keep each and every resident safe and well. Thank you 😊

🍕 Celebrating our wonderful carers at Watersmead!

We’ve kicked off Carers Appreciation Week at Watersmead with a well-deserved pizza lunch for our fantastic care team!

Our residents have also been getting involved, helping to create special appreciation keyrings which we’ve been handing out to colleagues as a small token of thanks.

It’s a lovely opportunity to recognise the kindness, dedication and compassion our carers show every day, and to remind them just how much they are valued by residents, families and colleagues alike.

Here’s to a week of celebrating the incredible people who make such a difference at Watersmead! 💙

Next week is carers appriciation week, we will be putting little thank you treats on through out the week, to thank all of our wonderful staff for all their hard work.

We would love for as many family members as possible to join us to celebrate alongaide us all their hardwork at an afternoon tea on Wednesday 16th September at 3pm. Please let us know if you will be able to join us.

Our crafting sessions are proving very popular, especially the scratch art ones.

Watching the picture come to life with bright colours from what was originally a black bit of card is something that the residents are enjoying doing. It is also very good for hand eye coordination trying to keep within the lines with a small scraper.
