We’re so excited to welcome Wild Spirit Kids Autumn Holiday Club back to the Farm this October half-term! 🍂

A calm, creative and nature-led space for children aged 5–11 to slow down, breathe and simply be themselves.

With very small group numbers and high staff-to-child ratios, every child is genuinely seen and supported. Days blend art, yoga, mindful games and outdoor adventures — giving children the freedom to connect with nature, build confidence and enjoy a gentle, home-from-home environment. 🌱

At Gullivers Farm Shop & Kitchen, we're more than just a café. As part of a growing social enterprise, we bring together food, farming, sustainability and community, creating meaningful opportunities for adults with varying support needs.

We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and passionate Barista to join our café team and help create a warm and welcoming experience for every customer who visits Gullivers.

Every child deserves to feel seen, heard and included. 🌿

That is why Wild Spirit Kids keeps its groups intentionally small and its staff-to-child ratios high. Instead of moving everyone through the same busy schedule, children are given the freedom to choose what feels right for them.

They might spend the morning creating with clay, making jewellery or exploring woodcraft, before heading outdoors for nature play, gentle yoga or an imaginative adventure around the farm. Creative materials are available throughout the day, giving children the time to become absorbed in what they enjoy and proudly take their creations home.

This thoughtful approach means children receive genuine attention, meaningful support and the space to build confidence at their own pace. It is more than childcare for the holidays. It is a carefully created experience centred around wellbeing, connection and the joy of childhood.

The Wild Spirit Kids Autumn Holiday Club runs at Sturts Farm from 19th–30th October for children aged 5–11.

Sessions are £48 per day from 9am–3pm, with extended care available from 8am–5pm for an additional £5 per hour.

Meet Bethy and James 👋

Bethy co-founded Gullivers Farm Shop & Kitchen, and today she works alongside the people who bring it to life, including companions like James.

That word alongside matters to us. Across the farm, shop and kitchen, companions take on real roles, share their skills and help shape the work we do each day. It’s a team where people learn from one another, have a say and take pride in what they contribute.

What if October half-term gave your child the chance to simply be a child? 🍂

Childhood can feel surprisingly busy. Between school, activities and the everyday rush of family life, children do not always get much time to slow down, follow their curiosity and simply be themselves.

Wild Spirit Kids offers a gentler kind of holiday club here at Sturts Farm. Children can create art, try yoga and movement, follow nature quests, make woodland crafts, listen to stories or become completely absorbed in their own imaginative games.

There is no pressure to compete and no rush from one activity to the next. Small groups and high staff-to-child ratios mean every child is genuinely known, supported and free to join in at their own pace.

It is particularly suited to sensitive, imaginative or quieter children, as well as anyone who would benefit from a break from the noise and overstimulation of everyday life.

Wild Spirit Kids returns from 19th–30th October for children aged 5–11. Sessions run from 9am–3pm, with extended care available.
