We are looking for a part time assistant to join our small team

Initially the hours will be Monday to Friday from 11:00 until 14:15
Additional hours will be available once Covid Restrictions are lifted and we are able to return to our standard opening hours

The main responsibilities of the role will be to prepare sandwiches and hot food to a high standard of quality and presentation and deliver excellent customer service

Duties will include:
Preparing sandwiches, baguettes, hot food and buffet lunches
Greeting and serving customers
Preparing and serving hot drinks
Operating a cash register, processing cash and card payments
Maintaining high cleanliness standards
Maintaining Food Safety Records
General shop and kitchen duties
The successful candidate should ideally have previous catering experience

I hope everyone is keeping safe and well

With the sun shining and restrictions starting to be lifted, I have decided that the Memphis Belle Sandwich Shop will re-open on Monday 12th April

We shall initially be open from 10:00 until 14:00, Monday to Friday with the aim to revert to our regular hours as soon as possible

I would like to once again extend my thanks to our wonderful customers and staff for their support over the last 12 months. It has certainly been challenging but hopefully better times are ahead and I look forward to seeing you soon

Following the Prime Minister’s announcement of the introduction of further restrictions I have made the tough but necessary decision to once again temporarily close the Memphis Belle Sandwich Shop

Our emails will be monitored during the period of lockdown so please continue to direct any enquiries to [email protected]

As soon as the situation improves and it is safe to do so we shall be back to business as usual

Following the Prime Minister’s recent announcement I have made decision to temporarily close the Memphis Belle Sandwich Shop until Monday 4th January.

I would like to wish all of our customers a very Merry Christmas and thank you for your continued support through what has been an extremely difficult year. We look forward to seeing you all again in 2021

After 3 long months of closure, the Memphis Belle Sandwich Shop will be re-opening on Monday 13th July

Initially we will be operating reduced hours and will begin by opening from 11:00 until 14:00, Monday to Friday

The safety of our staff and customers is paramount so the following measures have been implemented:

- The premises has undergone a deep clean

- All staff have been trained in Covid-19 prevention

- Our team have been fully trained in our enhanced cleaning and hygiene procedures

- There will be a limit on the number of customers permitted in the shop at any one time

- Hand sanitizer will be available for all customers at the entrance and within the shop

- Screens have been installed at the counter

- All staff members have been issued with PPE including gloves, masks and face shields

- There will be visible social distancing signage and floor markings

- Contactless payment is now accepted

- Orders can be placed in advance by telephone or email

We are very much looking forward to firing up our ovens, donning our pink aprons and serving you once more

Good morning

It’s with great sadness that in light of the ongoing situation with Coronavirus (Covid-19) we have made the decision to temporarily close the Memphis Belle Sandwich Shop from 2.45pm on Monday 23rd March until further notice

I would personally like to thank our customers and staff for their unwavering support during these challenging and uncertain times. As soon as the situation improves and it is safe to do so we shall be back to business as usual
