It’s definitely starting to feel a tiny bit autumnal or is that wishful thinking? Today was warm! Despite that our beautiful tree is decidedly red and mushrooms and fungi are everywhere. Perfect time for the return of pie night. Home made pies and buttery mash with a pint on a Friday night is the perfect British way to usher in the weekend and colder nights. Brunch is also back on Sunday, this was very popular this week so please book in advance to help The Garden Chef prep and order accordingly!

So this weekend looks like this

Friday 6 to 9pm pies with The Garden Chef
Famous Steak and missing Link Ale
Home grown venison, cranberry, red w**e and thyme.
Roast chicken, ham hock, mustard, parsley, chive and cream.

Saturday (come on by now you all know how good they are!!) 12 to 8pm

Sunday Brunch 10 to 2pm

Totally forgot to do the Monday post yesterday so here it is, slightly belated!
We should have the October list completed today so I’ll get that up later, some things are already bookable on the website for October and November.
The big news is brunch is back on Sundays for October and November. The legendary best full English you’ve ever had will of course be there along with other favourites, do book to avoid disappointment. 10 to 2pm along with lots of cakes!!
The Burger Truck will be with us 12 to 8pm on Saturday. Bussin burgers, loaded fries and some super specials to look forward to this month ❤️

Wow! What a weekend we have had, tacos, mushrooms, b**r, burritos, burgers, a ton of cake and more mushrooms! Thank you to The Burger Truck for the tacos and burgers, you were both epic and I hope have had a rest today. We all know Tanj’s burgers are simply the best around but now we have the most amazing Mexican to add to that with Jonny, Sarah and Amy, I’m going to dream about breakfast burritos until they are back again! They will be back so keep your eyes peeled when the autumn schedule comes out.
Thank you to All Things Fungi Festival for supplying a whole host of wonderful customers, they were all so appreciative. We know our b**r is outstanding and the burgers are knock out but it’s wonderful to see so many new people discover that too, all the love and passion we pour into our product opening up to a whole new group and boy, did they enjoy it all!

This weekend may be a little more sedate so grab some friends, your favourite family, your dog and come and play some games, relax and unwind with Freebird Fried Chicken on Friday 6 to 9pm. Rachel returns bringing a taste of the Deep South to Sussex with crispy buttermilk chicken and delectable sides.

Saturday and Sunday it’s the burger master The Burger Truck who has hopefully had some physio and counselling after the epicness of this weekend and is ready to return 12 to 8 Saturday and 12 to 5 on Sunday.
