Happening tomorrow! Everyone at The Hatch Cafe cannot wait to welcome you for drinks, cake (and more cake - we've ordered lots from our baker) and cream teas 🎪

Tomorrow is finally here ☀️ and the weather looks perfect for our biggest summer event in years.

Join us from 10am to 4pm on Hatch Grange for a day packed with fun. Enjoy live music, a wide selection of fresh, tasty food, and plenty of children’s activities, including a free princess visit, rides, and inflatables. Additionally, there’s a FREE children’s trail with a prize for the first 120 participants, and an exciting raffle to raise funds for Second Chance Animal Rescue.

Who is going to come and see us in the Tea Tent tomorrow? The weather is looking lovely 🌞 and we will be serving Scones with Clotted Cream and Jam for only £3.50; turn it into a Cream Tea for £5.50! Plus a selection of Cakes, Muffins and Tray Bakes.

We will be on Hatch Grange, and according to The Scouts, the Tea Tent has been extended, so you won't be able to miss us 🎪

Who remembers the Tea Tent we used many moons ago for big events? Exciting news: we are bringing it back for this Saturday's big summer event with West End Parish Council ☕🎉🍰

We will be serving drinks, cakes and cream teas from the tent, and there will be seating both inside and out. Plus, we will have a cold drink station outside, so you don't have to come inside if you need a quick cold drink to cool you down - which hopefully you will need as it is looking sunny 🌞

Big thanks to Dan Wiseman and 10th Itchen Scouts, who are providing the tent and putting it up for us! We really appreciate it

✨ Important customer notice ✨

We have made some adjustments to our opening hours next week due to staff holidays!

On Monday, we will be only staffed by one person, so we will be serving only cakes, drinks, and savoury pastries from 10am to 2pm.

Thursday, we will be closed all day. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

On Saturday, the cafe will be closed as we will be on Hatch Grange serving cakes, drinks and cream teas as part of the West End Family Fun-Day 🍰☕ The event runs from 10am to 4pm, and you can find us in the large white tea tent 🎪

Though many of you already know me, I thought it would be good to create a new post introducing myself :)

Hi, I'm Antonia, and I manage the cafes' social media. If you see a post here or message us on social, you will be talking with me.

I also assist the cafe manager with designing and printing our menus, as well as decorating the cafe. I create colouring sheets for our littlest customers and work with Jo on cafe events.

I love being part of the Hatch Cafe and meeting the lovely customers who visit us!

My favourite drink at the moment is an Iced Latte 🌞and my favourite food is a Tuna Melt with the cafe's famous coleslaw.
