***Introducing the management of Chapman Chippy***

Sukdev & Family.

"We are pleased to be a part of the "institution" that is Chapman Chippy".

Sukdev has worked in the food industry for over twenty years and brings a wealth of experience with him.

Our values are friendliness, cleanliness and value for money, tasty food.

Sukdev and co took over in early January, so is heading into his sixth week in the business and is settling in nicely.

The family are currently running the shop as it was when they took over, but they will slowly introduce changes to the store.

There will be alterations to the menu, with an emphasis on good quality ingredients and gourmet ranges. These will be added slowly to the menu.

"We do not want to lose the value of a good old fashioned local chip shop".

There will soon be changes to the outside of the shop as well.

Sukdev wanted to thank everybody in the local area for being so kind, "everyone have been fantastic since we moved in." Your support is greatly appreciated.

We are excited to continue the great service and hospitality provided by Hermes Kafetis (H). He will be a hard act to follow and we thank him for his years of service. We wish him all the best in his retirement.

We have great ideas for enhancing the food experience you receive from Chapman Chippy.

In 1986 Hermes Kafetzis [known as H to those in the local area], moved to Chapman Street to open a local business serving the great community of Sandwell, from his aptly named chip shop, Chapman Chippy.
Working along side Penny who sadly is no longer with us, he and his team have made years of memories along the way.
20 years later in 2007 he was made to move location, as the land of Chapman Chippy was compulsory purchased by the council, so H set up a new shop on Whitehall road.
He then named his new shop Chapman.

For over 33 years H has happily served the community and became a familiar and friendly face within not only West Bromwich, Great Bridge but as a long standing local businessman of Sandwell.
He is now finally retiring at the young age of 71.

The shop is being sold and set to exchange on the 3rd January 2019, H along with his family and staff would love for you to come and say a final fairway to all the customers over the last 33 years. So he can pass on his thanks, well wishes and say goodbye to everyone.

“Thank you so much for all your custom over the years, it has been great to grow old with you and watch generations of customers bring their own families along to the shop.”
