West Bay Hotel

21/09/2026

Monday’s here — and there’s plenty to look forward to at the West Bay Hotel this week! 🍻

We’re open seven days a week, serving food every lunchtime and evening. Walk-ins are always welcome, although booking is recommended if you’ve got your heart set on a particular table.

Then Sunday brings two very good reasons to visit…

🍽️ Our fantastic Sunday Roast, served from 12pm–3.30pm

🎶 The return of our fabulous Music Bingo, starting at 6.30pm — five brilliant rounds, plenty of prizes and absolutely no singing ability required!

Come for lunch, pop in for dinner, or book your table for Sunday’s double helping of food and fun.

📞 Message us or give us a call to reserve your table.

🎶 YOU CAN DANCE, YOU CAN JIVE… 🎶

And at Music Bingo, you almost certainly will!

You know that moment when the first few notes play…

Someone knows it immediately. Someone confidently sings the wrong words. Half the room joins in—and one table is already arguing over what the song is called.

That’s Music Bingo at the West Bay Hotel.

We’re back on Sunday 27th September with five completely different rounds packed with brilliant music, ridiculous moments and songs you didn’t realise you knew quite so well.

🎵 Five different themes
🎶 Music from across the eras
🏆 Plenty of prizes to be won
🎤 And a prize for the best bingo call of the night!

And what bingo calls we’ve had lately! From the clever to the completely ridiculous, you continue to surprise us—and we’re expecting even more on the 27th.

It’s lively. It’s competitive in the friendliest possible way. There’ll be singing, dancing and plenty of laughter—and by the end of the night, the whole room usually feels part of it.

If you’ve been before, you already know.

If you haven’t, make this the one you come to.

📅 Sunday 27th September
⏰ Music starts at 6:30pm
📍 The West Bay Hotel

We want a full house for this one, so round up your team, pick up the phone and book your table.

Don’t wait until everybody else is posting about the brilliant night they’ve just had.

Be there. 🎶

You know that feeling when a song starts and, before anyone else has recognised it, you already know?

Tonight, that knowledge could win you Music Bingo. 😉

⏰ Eyes down at 6:30pm
🎵 Brilliant music, questionable singing and prizes to be won
📍 The West Bay Hotel

There are still a table or two available, so book now to avoid disappointment.

And if you’ve never tried Music Bingo before? Make tonight the night you finally do. We’d absolutely love to see you. ❤️

🚨 FRIDAY MORNING QUESTION… WHAT ARE YOU DOING SUNDAY? 🚨

Because if the answer is “not sure yet” — we can fix that. 🎶😂

MUSIC BINGO is back at the West Bay Hotel THIS SUNDAY, 13th September, and we're gearing up for a BIG one.

If you've been meaning to come… this is your sign.

If you've been waiting for West Bay to get a little quieter after the summer… now's your chance.

COME AND FIND OUT WHY.

This isn't sitting quietly waiting for someone to call a number.

This is…

🙌 Huge songs you'll know within seconds
🤦‍♀️ Songs you'll know perfectly well but inexplicably fail to recognise
🎤 Singing that nobody actually asked for
🏆 Prizes to be won
🥂 Great drinks
😂 And people taking a £2 bingo card FAR more seriously than they ever intended

💷 £2 per person, per card, per game

And we've set ourselves a challenge…

🔥 LET'S BEAT OUR MUSIC BINGO RECORD. 🔥

Right then…

WHO'S IN? 🙋‍♀️🎶

09/09/2026

🚨 WEST BAY… WE NEED YOU! 🚨

The schools are back. The evenings are drawing in. The flip-flops are being reluctantly retired. And the summer crowds are beginning to thin out… 👋😂

Which means there is really only one sensible thing to do this Sunday 13th September…

🎶 GET YOURSELVES TO MUSIC BINGO! 🎶

If you've been before, you already know.

If you've been saying “we really must try that Music Bingo…” — THIS is your sign.

And if you've been waiting for West Bay to calm down a bit after the summer madness… your time has come.

🔥 FIVE rounds of Music Bingo
🎵 Songs you'll know, songs you'll sing and songs you'll kick yourself for not recognising
😂 Questionable bingo calls and plenty of chaos
🥂 Great drinks
🏆 Fab prizes
💷 Just £2 per person, per card, per game
⏰ Eyes down from 6:30pm

No music knowledge required. No singing ability required. Frankly, dignity is optional.

We're setting ourselves a challenge this week…

🏆 CAN WE BEAT OUR RECORD MUSIC BINGO TURNOUT? 🏆

We reckon we can — but we're going to need you lot to help us do it.

So round up the family. Message the group chat. Drag that friend along who's been promising to come for months. Grab your usual table or come and discover what all the fuss is about.

Sunday night plans = SORTED.

📞 Booking strongly recommended — let's fill the place!

🔥 WE’RE HIRING — KITCHEN TEAM 🔥

We’re looking for a Kitchen Porter / Kitchen Assistant to join our busy kitchen team at The West Bay Hotel.

This could be perfect if you’re looking for evening and weekend work alongside school, college or another commitment — or if you’re interested in hospitality and want a great place to start.

You don’t need loads of experience. What matters much more to us is your attitude.

We’re looking for someone who is:

⭐ Reliable and ready to get stuck in
⭐ Self-motivated — someone who can see what needs doing
⭐ Happy working as part of a busy, hardworking team
⭐ Positive, practical and willing to learn
⭐ Available for evening and weekend shifts

It’s a busy kitchen, so we won’t pretend you’ll spend your shifts standing around! But you’ll be joining a friendly, hardworking team, learning how a professional kitchen operates and gaining some really useful experience along the way.

For the right person, this could also be a brilliant first step into a career in hospitality, with opportunities to learn and develop within the kitchen.

💷 Good rates of pay
🚗 Free parking available if you drive
🗓️ Hours available immediately — you could start this week
📍 The West Bay Hotel, West Bay

If you’re dependable, have a bit of initiative and aren’t afraid of getting stuck in, we’d love to hear from you.

Send us a message with a little bit about yourself, your availability and any experience you have — although attitude and willingness to learn are more important than a long CV.

Know someone who’d be perfect? Tag them or share this with them.

☁️ SUNDAY AT THE WEST BAY ☕🍺🍽️

Good morning and happy Bank Holiday Sunday!

We’re not entirely sure where the sunshine is hiding this morning… and the forecast isn’t giving us a huge amount of confidence either. 😂

But never mind — it’s warm and welcoming inside The West Bay, the coffee is hot, the b**r is cold, and we’ve got plenty happening throughout the day.

🍽️ Sunday Roasts served 12pm–3pm
Our Sunday menu is available throughout lunchtime, with booking suggested but never essential — we’ll always do our very best to accommodate walk-ins.

🐾 Dog friendly
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family friendly
☕ Coffees, teas & something sweet
🍺 Award-winning real ales
🍷 Wines, spirits & plenty of other choices

Basically, if the Bank Holiday weather isn't playing ball, come and shelter with us!

And then tonight…

🎶 MUSIC BINGO IS BACK! 🎶

Three weeks has felt FAR too long after our Torchlight break, but tonight we’re finally back with five rounds of brilliant music, bingo, prizes, singing, questionable dancing and plenty of laughs.

🎵 Eyes down from 6.30pm
🎟️ £2 per card, per game

And with no work tomorrow for lots of you, what better excuse do you need for a Sunday night out? 🍻🎶

Music Bingo is already looking busy, so we strongly recommend booking a table — we really don't want anyone turning up ready to play and finding we can't squeeze them in!

Whether you're joining us for Sunday lunch, escaping the weather for a drink, or settling in for Music Bingo tonight…

Spend your Bank Holiday Sunday with us at The West Bay. ❤️

🪩 THIS SUNDAY — BANK HOLIDAY MUSIC BINGO! 🪩

Have you been giving West Bay a miss during the summer holidays because you thought everywhere would be absolutely packed? 👀

Come back! We’ve missed you! ❤️

There’s still plenty of room for our locals and regulars — and this Sunday we’d LOVE to see some familiar Music Bingo faces back around the tables, alongside everyone visiting us for the Bank Holiday weekend.

🎶 Brilliant music
😂 Plenty of laughs
💃 Singing & dancing strongly encouraged
🏆 Fab prizes
🎟️ £2 per card, per game
⏰ Eyes down at 6.30pm

And remember… Monday is a Bank Holiday.

Which makes Sunday night practically a Saturday. We don’t make the rules. 🤷‍♀️😂

🪩 Book your table, bring your friends and come and make some noise with us!

👇 All the details below 👇

🪩🎶 BANK HOLIDAY SUNDAY = MUSIC BINGO! 🎶🪩

Music Bingo is back at The West Bay Hotel this Sunday, 30th August — and we’re VERY ready for it!

And to all our lovely Music Bingo regulars who’ve been thinking…

"We'll wait until the summer holidays are over…" 👀

You don't need to! ❤️

Yes, it's August. Yes, it's Bank Holiday weekend. And yes, West Bay is busy — but there is absolutely still room for our locals and regulars!

So come back out, reclaim your favourite table and remind us just how loud a proper Music Bingo BINGO! is supposed to be. 😂

And if you're visiting West Bay for the Bank Holiday? Come and join us too! One of the things we love most about Music Bingo is seeing regular faces alongside completely new ones.

Expect brilliant tunes, different themed rounds, questionable singing, spontaneous dancing, fab prizes and a pub full of people having a really good night. 🥳

🎟️ £2 per card, per game
⏰ Eyes down from 6.30pm
📍 The West Bay Hotel
📅 Sunday 30th August

You don't need to be a music expert. If the song playing is on your card, cross it off. That's pretty much it. The singing, dancing and competitive behaviour appear to happen all by themselves. 😂

And with Monday being a Bank Holiday…

Sunday night doesn't really count as a school night, does it? 👀🍻

Tables are already being booked, so book yours and make Music Bingo part of your Bank Holiday weekend.

🪩 Regulars, we've missed you. Visitors, come and see what all the noise is about.

🎶 Good music. Big smiles. Loud BINGOS. Bank Holiday sorted. 🎶
