Are you ready for round 2? đź‘€

Our next Bistro Nights menu is nearly finished and we’re very excited for this one!

Think cosy dishes, warming plates and plenty of comforting flavours as the weather starts to turn. The kind of menu that calls for a good glass of w**e, a cosy table and absolutely no rush to leave.

But we’re keeping the theme under wraps for now… 🤫

Can you guess where we’re taking you this time? Drop your guesses in the comments - we’ll reveal all soon! 👀🍷

Tucked away in the heart of Wentworth Village, Old Smythie is a cosy little café-restaurant serving proper food in a building with a bit of history behind it.

Think Sunday roasts, British classics, seasonal menus, good coffee, and plenty of reasons to make a trip to us.

We’re just 2 minutes from Wentworth Woodhouse, so you can make a proper day of it.

🔧 WE’RE HAVING A LITTLE TIME OUT… (in a few weeks)

The Old Smythie will be closed from Friday 10th October to Friday 17th October while we carry out some essential maintenance.

As much as we love having you through the doors, even buildings (and the people in them!) need a bit of TLC now and again 🛠️

And whilst the work is going on, our brilliant team will also be taking a much-deserved rest.

This means replies to emails, messages and booking enquiries may be a little slower than usual during this time, so please bear with us - we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.

We’ll be back open and ready to feed you from Sunday 18th October (and we're nearly fully booked) ❤️

Thanks for your patience, and we’ll see you on the other side! 🍽️

Tucked away in Wentworth Village, surrounded by countryside and just minutes from Wentworth Woodhouse.

Proper food, a very old blacksmith’s, and apparently still one of South Yorkshire’s best-kept secrets.

How many of you have actually been? 👇
