We're excited to announce we will be opening in march, taking over 'The monkey puzzle' from Simon.

4 years ago I was looking for a part time job whilst doing my business part time. I got a job with Simon in the monkey puzzle, shortly after we became friends and ever since he has been a great mentor- the support I had from Simon while working with him, from him buying my cakes to sell, and going on to support my ventures since. I can't thank you enough Simon for everything you've done for me in these past 4 years.

So with that being said, we will be opening FED in 5-6 Puzzle Square with our grand opening being 12th March from 8am.

We're launching our giveaway with a competition of course!!

We'd like to give you the chance to win afternoon tea for 2 on mother's day.

We will be offering on mother's day
Mothers day brunch style afternoon tea which will include a selection of
Breakfast sandwich
Smashed avocado on toast
Salmon belinis

IMPORTANT NEWS!!!

Well, where do we start?

After 13 successful years in Puzzle Square, we are finally closing the doors at The Monkey Puzzle on Saturday 28th February!

We have seen many changes in Welshpool over the years, seen businesses come and go, the one way system, a new bus station and even survived covid!

We have showcased musical talent with our popular Welshpool Songwriter Sessions with local and international musicians performing their own original material in front of a live audience.
We've supported numerous fundraising events and charities over the years, with Simon going the extra mile and completing the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge, raising much needed funds for the Welshpool Air Ambulance.

We have made lots of great friends over the years and had some of the most amazing staff wear The Monkey Puzzle shirt 💜 We're sure that all the team enjoyed dressing up as characters from the comedy 'Allo 'Allo 🇫🇷 for the Welshpool 1940s Weekend

It has been a privilege seeing our younger team members develop and succeed, excelling at university and their chosen career paths. You will forever be part of the Monkey Puzzle family!

Finally, we would like to say a huge thank you to you all that have supported us since we opened in 2013. Every visit, every smile, every thank you, every post liked and shared on social media, every recommendation made on Tripadvisor and Google, we can't thank you enough. We couldn't have done it without you!!!

So, we bid you farewell, and hope to see some of you before the end of February.
