We have lots of natural remedies and nutritional supplements at The Good Earth to help you relieve your hayfever this Summer. With hayfever season in full swing, allergies are a hot topic!
From drops to sprays and tablets, we've got it. π
There are also some natural remedies you can try at home too:
Apple Cider Vinegar - restores important nutrients in your body and also the alkaline pH which helps with hayfever symptoms.
Turmeric - powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory which helps to eradicate allergens from the body.
Ginger - is a natural antihistamine and a powerful anti-inflammatoryΒ and helps to reduce nasal swelling. Grate a table spoon of fresh ginger and boil it in hot water for 5 minutes to make an effective homemade ginger tea.
Peppermint Essential Oil - really helps to open up the nose and also relieves headaches resulting from stuffed sinuses.
Nettle - is a natural antihistamine which can help reduce the inflammation of the upper respiratory tract and ease nasal congestion, sneezing and itching. Steep a table spoon of loose nettle leaf tea in a cup for 5 minutes, and voilΓ !
Chamomile Water - is great for calming allergic reactions such as rashes, inflammation and hayfever. It works as a natural antioxidant and antihistamine. Not only is it soothing, it also builds up your reaction to pollen. Always test a little bit first to check chamomile oils aren't a trigger for you.
Witch Hazel - has many uses for skin and natural health but because it is an anti-inflammatory, anti-itch and an antioxidant it can help with sore puffy eyes, insect bites and sunburn.
