Burlow Bramble

Named after our Kirsty, who has been supplying the restaurant with an abundance of Plums from her garden.
Featured on both our food menu and now on our drinks list in the form of this Bramble Cocktail.

We make our own Plum infused gin, add our 2025 Damson Gin, some lemon juice and top with Blackberry liqueur.
A simple cocktail that highlights the seasonal British fruit currently growing on our hedgerows and trees.
It’s sweet and sharp, very quaffable - and tastes a little like a slushy..

Another year of being included in the The Good Food Guide top 100 local restaurants

Very special to us here as it is voted for by you guys, it also represents what we’ve always want to be, a proper local restaurant. The words that have been used to describe the restaurant have been lovely to read.

Root Wells in Wells celebrates ingredient-led cooking and a welcoming atmosphere. It was commended for “generosity, creativity and community focus” and demonstrates Somerset’s growing reputation for independent dining destinations outside Bath.

We hope to be able to continue doing what we do for years to come.

Thank you to all the team that work tirelessly to create a space that people want spend their time in.
