“The pavlovas were so popular we even saw people trying to steal some from other tables!” ⬅️ definitely one of my favourite parts of a review, ever 🤩

At the end of August I had the pleasure of making ten, yes TEN, pavlovas for Tom and Georgie’s wedding at the beautiful Cothelstone Manor For anyone who has ever made a pavlova you’ll know they take a fair while and making ten in one oven was definitely a challenge but so worth it. Super happy with how they all turned out 😁 at the end of the day what’s not to love about meringue, whipped cream and berries 🍓🫐🤍

So I was absolutely pumped when one of my fabulous couples, Jamie and James, got on board with the long cake idea, a trend that has been taking the cake world by storm. I’m always up for a cake challenge and this certainly was. Set up at one my fave venues Somerset Wedding and Events Venue and covered in edible flowers from Nurtured in Norfolk I’m so happy with how it turned out.

Amazingly I actually filmed the assembly of this 3ft beauty (anyone who knows me knows I’m rubbish at filming bts) so I’ll be posting that and tips on creating a giant cake board soon ✌️

It’s seems I’ve been a little quiet on here lately... I’ve been away on holiday, catching up on some much-needed time off, and doing my best to survive all these heatwaves (every cake maker’s nightmare 🙈)

So, here’s a little catch-up with one of my recent favourites 🤍🌹 This timeless wedding cake, adorned with cascading roses, was the perfect centrepiece for Portia and Sean’s special day at Orchardleigh Estate Weddings.

35 trips round the sun? Completed it mate ✅🎉🥳🎂

It feels absolutely bonkers that another year has gone by and so in what seems to now be my annual tradition here are a few pictures of me rocking my new fleece and enjoying the local delicacies of Wells - a whippy and the best sausage bap in the south west

For those of you who are new to this cake ride or just haven’t seen my face before, hello, I’m Bridget, founder, baker, designer, decorator, marketer, researcher, developer, website designer, stock taker and every other role in a business-er you can think of. This is my 6th year of caking and I’m forever grateful to those who enable me to do it and for the fabulous people I have met along the way, you all know who you are 🤍
