🎃 Guess the Weight of the Pumpkins 🎃

We’re running our annual guess the weight competition, and here’s how to enter:

🎃 £2 per guess
Half of the money raised will be donated to Lingen Davies Cancer Support, and the other half will go to the winner!

Guess the combined weight of BOTH pumpkins, and whoever gets closest to the actual weight will win.🏆

📅 The pumpkins will be weighed and the winner announced on Halloween, 31st October!

A huge thank you to our very own Emily ~ Ellerdine Lakes Pumpkin Patch for kindly donating our pumpkins this year. Be sure to go and give them a visit ! 🎃

Join us tonight at 7:30pm for Cheese Night! Bring along your favourite cheese to share, and we’ll take care of the accompaniments.

At the end of the night, we’ll hold a vote to pick the favourite cheese, and the winner will receive a free drink on us ! 🍺🍷

💚 WE SMASHED IT! 💚

We honestly can’t thank you all enough. Our target was an ambitious £1,500… and together we raised an incredible £1,949.11 for Macmillan Cancer Support!

A HUGE thank you to our amazing staff and volunteers who gave their time, worked their socks off and helped make the whole day happen.

Thank you to every single person who came along, bought a coffee or cake, had a go on the games, bought raffle tickets, threw a sponge 😂 or simply popped some money in the pot.

And a massive thank you to all the local businesses, customers, friends and supporters who donated so generously. From the fantastic raffle prizes and homemade cakes & bakes, to equipment and everything else we needed to put the day together – we genuinely couldn’t have done it without you. 💚

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who played a part, big or small.

Wellington, you came together as a community and absolutely smashed it!

This Friday 25th September, we’re opening early from 9:30am and attempting to raise a whopping £1,500 for Macmillan Cancer Support! ☕🍰

We’ve got plenty planned throughout the day, including our Macmillan Coffee Morning, BIG charity raffle and, from 5pm, STAFF IN THE STOCKS! 😂💦

🎟️ Raffle tickets are on sale NOW — £1 each or £5 a strip!

We’ve already had some AMAZING prizes donated (have a look 👀👇), with plenty more still to come.

And we’re still welcoming donations! 💚

On Friday 25th September, The Pheasant will be opening its doors EARLY from 9:30am for our Macmillan Coffee Morning! 🍰

And we’ve set ourselves a BIG target…

🎯 £1,500 FOR MACMILLAN CANCER SUPPORT!

We’re planning a morning packed with coffee, cake, fundraising and plenty of fun, with the fundraising continuing throughout the day as we try to smash that £1,500 total! 💚

But first… WE NEED YOUR HELP!

🍰 BAKERS!
Could you donate a cake, traybake, brownies, cookies or another delicious creation for us to sell on the day?

🎁 RAFFLE PRIZES!
We’re looking for local businesses and lovely customers who might be willing to donate a prize for our BIG Macmillan raffle.

🍾 DONATE A BOTTLE!
We’ll also be running a charity tombola, so we’re collecting bottles of all shapes and sizes — booze, pop, toiletries, sauces… if it comes in a bottle, we’ll find a home for it! 😂

If you can bake, donate a prize or contribute a bottle, just drop us a message or speak to Sarah or one of the team at the bar.
