Dogs are welcome in our specified dinning area for dogs. The Good Pub Guide 2012, 2015, 2016,2017, 2018, 2019 ,2020 and now 2021 Warwickshire Dining Pub of the Year. The Bell Inn has been providing refreshment for over 300 years. According to local history, William Shakespeare was on his way back to Stratford upon Avon in the rain after meeting Drayton and Ben Jonson for a drink at The Bell in Welford, when he contracted fatal pneumonia! Luckily the roads are somewhat better these days, and we can always arrange a taxi for you to get home. The Bell aims to provide quality food, together with outstanding service, while also offering customers a really good pint

The awards The Bell Inn is constantly winning are testament in themselves, as is the fact that customers keep on coming back again, and again, and again.

Your first autumnal walk this weekend?🍂

Try one of these two local walks and end it with a well deserved lunch with us!

Here is why these 2 walks are our favourites. Screenshot the video to refer back to later.

Both routes start and finish with us (have we mentioned we have ample parking!)

The first will see you around our beautiful village, bringing you back down the river before looping around to the other side of Welford. At a steady pace, this would take no longer than an hour!

The second is a bit longer, heading back towards Stratford up the river Avon before heading back along the Greenway, a 2 hour walk at a leisurely pace with minimal climbing.

Then pop in to us afterwards for that well deserved treat.
