Get 3 Alpine plants for just £12 at Hilltop this month! 🌸

Alpines work really well in rockeries, on living roofs (try creating a living roof on a wooden bin shed for a fun project), and in pots. Just make sure to use a free draining compost like RocketGro Herb & Alpine compost (Alpines hate having wet roots), and plant them in full sun. Alpines require almost zero maintenance so they're great plants for novices and children. Find out more on our website 👇

Want free plants? It's time to divide your spring-flowering perennials - here's how to do it 👇

Start by pushing a garden spade deep into the soil around the edge of the plant and lift the whole root ball out. Shake off soil so you can see the main roots and individual sections, then separate the plant into smaller chunks using your hands or a sharp knife for tough roots. Cut back old leaves and stems to help the plant save energy for new roots, and replant quickly, watering in well 🌸

Divide Hellebores, Primroses and Hardy Geraniums this month 🌸
