Absolute pleasure serving one of our most loved customers Margaret Maddison aka Royal Grandma on Sunday.At a young age of just 99 she heartily tucked into a chicken roast and just in case she struggled Alfonse aka fonz was offering to assist should it be required.

Such a lovely letter to receive. Thank you to the school for sending us this. We cannot stress enough our belief that Pubs play a huge role in the community, town or village!

🌸Pubs are our culture, our communities, our togetherness and neighbourliness. Pubs are our identities, our release, our social well-being and mental health. Pubs are where we all come together irrespective of your job, your income, your beliefs, gender, sexuality, race or religion - the pub is the leveller. A pub belongs to the people, we are just the custodians! But we’ll continue to do our best to play our part.

We’ll be having a Summer spruce up in the pub very soon with a fresh lick of paint and maybe a new colour. Look out for that! And look out for each other 💕 Pubs matter because people matter!
