As we look back, our hearts are full. 💌

From steaming bowls of beef pho and chicken pho, to crispy bánh mì, warm home style rice meals, comforting bún chả, bún cá, and golden chả giò - every dish we cooked carried a little piece of Vietnam, and a lot of love.

💛 This journey with Bowl & Bite has been a truly beautiful one.
Each order, each message, each familiar face at the door reminded us why we started this kitchen in the first place: to bring comfort, memories, and a taste of home to Watford.

As this chapter gently comes to a close and a new year approaches, we hope Bowl & Bite has become a warm memory, a favourite meal, or a small moment of happiness for you, just as you have been for us.

Every family celebrates Christmas in their own way… 🎄
For me, I love a quieter Christmas — calm, cosy, and slow.
It’s a time to pause, chat a bit longer with colleagues, laugh more with family, and truly be with the people around me.
While I wrap up my final bits of work in the evening, my husband and in-laws are in the kitchen, filling the house with the most comforting festive smells — like this one: Cozonac.
A sweet Romanian bread, swirled with walnuts and cocoa, baked with love ❤️
The scent of cozonac and sarmale will always mean Christmas to me.

Bowl & Bite will remain open until the end of December 🍲
In January, I’ll be returning to Vietnam to be closer to my family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 and to look for new opportunities in the next chapter of my journey ✨

This decision wasn’t an easy one.

Bowl & Bite started as a small kitchen, but along the way, it became so much more ❤️
It became a place filled with warmth, familiar flavours, long days and tired nights,
and most importantly, so many kind faces and kind hearts 🤍

Every order 📦, every message 💌, every “thank you” meant more to me than you know.
They reminded me why this kitchen mattered, and why this journey was worth it 🌱
