Let’s do it!

We’ve launched a Crowd Funder for Jazz Steps 2025.

This awesome community event (running on Sunday 18 May) delivers more than 30 live performances across 8 stages involving more than 150 musicians and 50 volunteers.

It means 3000 people will be able to access live music in the area they live and entirely for free.

Blending quality and inclusion, we pay all our musicians fairly and create a super friendly environment for everyone.

JIKO PIZZA CANCELLED

Hi all, we sadly have to cancel our Jiko Pizza 🍕 tonight (Saturday 24) at due to the rain and even some lightening. Typical bank holiday weather!!

We are so sorry to do this at the last minute but were hoping for a miraculous change in the weather this morning.

We hope you can come to our final 🍕night on the 31st 🙏🏽

Good afternoon everyone,

Thank you all for your regular support towards the success of The Village Kitchen. Some of you have eaten our curries, pies, KFC, and more for the entire 12 years plus - amazing!

As you may know, the Jiko pizzas are seasonal and the season is drawing to an end. This end will be Saturday 31st August.

Due to ongoing health issues for both Craig and I, we have reluctantly come to the decision that we need to close the business.

We couldn’t have done it without you all and it has been a joy feeding you and getting to know you.

As the 31st August is our last hoorah, we hope to see many of you for a celebratory pizza and goodbye.

We will now be able to join you for a drink without an apron on!
